Here is the 2005 Volleyball Canada team Registration Form, a new one should be posted soon so you can register a team.

The YKVA League Rules are posted which govern game play. All team captains are responsible for reading and playing by these rules.
The 2007/2008 season runs from September 2007 until the end of April 2008. During this time there will be:

    3 Tournaments
  • Fall Tournament: Oct 19-21, 2007
  • Winter Tournament: Jan 18-20, 2008
  • Spring Tournament: Apr 25-27, 2008

    Volleyball Officiating Clinic:
    With Arctic Winter Games happening in Yellowknife this year, we will be looking for minor officials for all the games. Please let Terrel Hobbs know if you are interested in attending a clinic. The first one will be 6:30 pm October 18, at St.Pats school. Come to room 133 (in pod beside School) for an overview of the rules, and a written test (if you want to be certified). NWTVA would like all minor officials for AWG to be certified if they are helping with Volleyball in the Community Arena.
    Rules of play follow Volleyball Canada Official rules, with some minor ammendments by YKVA. Here is the YKVA Rules Summary

    Check out the list, or add yourself to the list of players looking for a team.
    Sundog Volleyball Club: If you are interested in playing on a Men's or Women's competitive team? The Sundog Volleyball Club usually meets Sundays, 11:00 AM at Sir John High School or Range Lake North. This club usually enters a few teams into the NWTVA Territorial Open Championships. Fees are $70 per year, if you are interested, please contact Stephen Nielsen. Here is a list of their scheduled games.
